Designing Trust for Credit Builders

How do you make a six-month evaluation system feel simple and honest, for people who’ve never had a credit score?

I designed Imprint’s secured card graduation experience, shaping the product requirements through design.

Scaling Card Selection

Fanatics launched their credit card program with over 3,000 credit card art designs spanning every major sports league, team, and player. I designed a card selection experience that helps users find their ideal card without adding friction to the credit card application flow and built it as a reusable system for future partners with large catalogs.

Consolidating the Rewards Widget

Rewards was the lowest-volume surface in our servicing app, the most resented, and the one our next business model depended on.

I audited every version in production, consolidated them into one configurable component, and turned a surface nobody could experiment on into the one we now test against.

Chase Payment Solution for Split Tender

We shipped a way to pay a Chase card bill with Ultimate Rewards points. Then the data showed almost nobody had enough points to use it.

The fix wasn't a better points feature. Paying with points was always going to be a partial payment, so I designed for that as the normal case instead of the failure case.

Chase Payment Solution for Web

I owned product design end to end, creating a reusable payment selection experience that balanced consistency across Chase's web banking ecosystem with the needs of different payment journeys.
